My display is 5K. How should I configure the settings to get a normal picture display?
Update to firmware version 1.5. Once the device is connected, enter your Dr. 8K's IP address into a web browser to access the configuration page. Go to MAIN > ACTIVE EDID MODE and select COPY TX SINK EDID. You would be able to store this EDID into Custom EDID Slot 8 and modify more parameters as desired.

My original display doesn't natively support Dolby Vision. Can I output Dolby Vision video by configuring the EDID?
Yes, you can! Once the device is connected, enter your Dr. 8K's IP address into a web browser to access the configuration page. Go to MAIN > ACTIVE EDID MODE, select COPY TX SINK EDID and MODIFY (AUTOMIX) > VIDEO FLAGS > select DV.
Method 1: Use the drop-down menu to select your preferred Dolby Vision format.
Method 2: Select CUSTOM from the drop-down menu, then navigate to DV INFO > CONSTRUCT CUSTOM DOLBY VISION DATA BLOCK. Here, you can create a custom DV data block and adjust the parameters to your needs. Once modified, click Create, and then click Send DV to apply.
What is the maximum HDMI bandwidth and resolution supported by Dr. 8K?
Dr. 8K utilizes the HDMI 2.1 specification, featuring a maximum transmission bandwidth of 40Gbps (FRL5). It supports resolutions and refresh rates up to 4K@120Hz and 8K@60Hz.
Does Dr. HDMI 8K support Dolby Vision / HDR / eARC?
Full support is provided, including HDR, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision (Mode 0/1/2 & LLDV), ALLM, VRR, IMAX Enhanced, and eARC.
How do I manually configure a Static IP?
Once the device is connected, enter your Dr. 8K's IP address into a web browser to access the configuration page.
Go to CONFIG > IP CONFIG > DHCP and select OFF.
Go to CONFIG > IP CONFIG > Configure Static IP, change the values to your desired IP address, and click SET IP to reboot the device and complete the setup.
