CAUTION: Before connecting the Arcana, please power cycle all devices by unplugging them for 10 seconds. Once all connections are secure, power them back on one by one.
Installation & Configuration
[Setup 1] Single Input Source
This configuration enables 4K HDR display devices without native eARC support to output Dolby Vision, while allowing eARC-compatible sound systems to perfectly output Dolby Atmos.
If you want to control your Soundbar (e.g., Sonos ARC) volume using your TV remote:
Ensure your TV supports HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control).
Connect the HDMI OUT of the Arcana 2 to the eARC / ARC HDMI port on your TV.
Change your TV's audio output setting from the internal TV speakers to the external sound system (ARC).
Power cycle your TV by unplugging it for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
Once these steps are completed, you will be able to control your Soundbar volume using your TV remote.
Audio Output Settings for Internal TV Apps
Arcana Configuration: MENU > AUDIO > TV ARC routing: on
Once configured, the TV's audio will be transmitted via ARC to the Arcana, and then output to your external sound system via eARC.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Arcana support all HDMI devices?
Yes! It accepts inputs from any HDMI media player, supporting up to Atmos/TrueHD, and outputs to the Sonos Arc or any eARC-compatible sound system. It can also be used with AVRs/amplifiers, provided they support eARC to decode Dolby Atmos.
What is the maximum HDMI bandwidth and resolution supported by Arcana?
Arcana's input source supports the HDMI 2.0b specification with a maximum bandwidth of 18Gbps and resolutions up to 4K@60Hz. The output can be connected to HDMI 2.1 compliant TVs and displays.
Can Arcana resolve lip-sync (audio-video desynchronization) issues?
Yes! It features ultra-low latency of less than 1ms, which is virtually imperceptible and ideal for gaming or real-time video processing.
Why does the screen look reddish?
If the DV Primaries are set to DCI-P3 and the LLDV signal is sent to a display device that lacks a DCI-P3 color profile, the colors will appear oversaturated, causing noticeable reddish skin tones on faces. The solution is to output BT2020 instead of DCI-P3.
Arcana Configuration: Go to MENU > LLDV -> HDR > Primaries, select BT2020, and press the click wheel to confirm.
Does Arcana support gaming consoles (such as PS5, Xbox, and PC)?
Yes, absolutely! For instance, if you want to display Dolby Vision-supported games from your PS5 onto a 4K HDR TV or projector, Arcana is your ultimate solution. Arcana supports LLDV-to-HDR10 conversion, making it the perfect tool to elevate your picture quality!
Does Arcana support Dolby Vision and HDR10+?
Yes. Arcana supports 600MHz/18Gbps HDR, HDR10+, HLG, DV & LLDV, eARC, ALLM, and IMAX Enhanced.
Can a non-eARC (ARC-only) TV output Dolby Atmos through Arcana?
No, it cannot natively. Standard ARC supports up to a maximum of 5.1 channels.
To output audio from your TV's internal apps, please refer to the [Installation & Configuration] > [Audio Output Settings for Internal TV Apps] section on this page. However, you can still achieve Dolby Atmos playback on your Soundbar or audio system from external media players by using Arcana to split and route the audio signal directly.
Why doesn't T1 display "HBR bitstream 192KHz" after connecting the eARC OUT port to my sound system/AVR?
If it displays "eARC/ ARC not active": Verify that both your playback devices and HDMI cables natively support eARC. Try power cycling or disconnecting and reconnecting the cables, then wait 5 seconds.
If it displays "LPCM 48kHz 2.0ch/ 5.1ch/ 7.1ch 24bit": This indicates that your current source device is outputting a standard 2-channel, 5.1-channel, or 7.1-channel audio format rather than a Dolby Atmos bitstream.
What should I do if the audio stutters or drops out when using Arcana to connect my PC to a Soundbar for Dolby Atmos playback?
Please inspect the HDMI cable connected to your Soundbar. To successfully transmit Dolby Atmos, you must use an Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 compliant cable that fully supports eARC functionality. Standard HDMI 2.0 cables do not have the bandwidth required for eARC, which will cause audio dropouts and parsing errors when handling high-bitrate Dolby Atmos signals.
